Personally, I think many of these tutorials are really old, and should definitely be updated. Personally I may not buy goods from a website that has a poor rating. If the website has a poor WOT trust rating it means someone had a bad experience. WOT is a popular browser plugin used by thousands of users to rate online shops and websites. I believe these pages are part of the linear manual, so I don't feel like modifying them at all, unless the original author (Yorik?) says it's okay. Check rating according to WOT: The website has an excellent trust rating (85/100). The only question I have is what to do with those tutorials that are part of the Manual: namespace. I haven' t tried it, but I seem to remember that the Path Workbench changed quite a lot from one release to the next one, so the interested parties should definitely try to keep their documentation up to date. If a step needs to be changed, then this can be done, and then the version number may be updated.įor other tutorials that are completely out of date, then a new tutorial needs to be written. If the steps work, then the tutorial may just be bumped with a 0.18 tag, but nothing major needs to be rewritten. nqollh.FreeCAD does not run smoothly on the Rasp Pi, even. So, I suggest going through all the tutorials marked with 0.17 or earlier, like those that use Part and PartDesign, and just check that the same steps work. /usr/bin/freecad /usr/bin/freecadcmd /usr/lib/freecad/Mod/Arch/Arch. In my opinion, the example files aren't as important as the instructions to create them. What may not work are the example files attached. I think most of the tutorials are pretty basic, and work essentially the same in 0.15 as they do in 0.18. the basic part design tutorial is broken. Probably due to different OCC versions some of the examples attached to the tutorials don't work anymore, e.g.
